Driver came in a Corolla Altis, was wearing a suit and he had water and green tea in the car, I quite liked it. Going to use it more often.

The Uber drivers here are all executive drivers for companies, they always have water and other drinkables, gum and phone chargers and they always wear suits.

That's pretty nice actually! In DC I'm pretty sure the ride share places aren't half as nice.

Did two Uber's this weekend, because alcohol.
First car was an Uber Black Car, as there were no X's in the area.
It was a 2006 Town Car with 484,000 Miles. Second engine. First transmission - we had a nice discussion about it. He says that the engine replacement took only like 6 Hours when he took it to a garage in NYC. Great Guy. Great Ride.
Second one was a little later in the night. I was a little more out of it. I requested an Uber X and the guy arrived but had no clue where he was going.
That didn't really bother me. What bothered me was that the Uber was claimed to be a 2012 Chrysler 200 in black.
I was picked up in a 2004ish Chrysler Sebring in black.
*First World Problem.

In Brazil Uber is Black Car only and they have to be newer than 2009. I tried because alcohol as well.

Uber is a really great service operated by a particularly assholeish company.

1. Generally ignoring any and all laws that regulate taxi services in all of the municipalities in which they operate.
2. Scheduling and then cancelling tens of thousands of rides on competing services, in order to recruit drivers and degrade competitors' quality of service.
3. Their CEO has gone on record as saying that he eventually wants to phase out all of their drivers with driverless cars, and if the drivers don't like it, tell them "this is the way of the world, and the world isn't always great."

I don't really mind number 1 because taxi services here are crap, so Uber might be the incentive they need to improve. But yeah, 2 and 3 are veery assholeish.
